Our Causes

7845 is an organisation of purpose

It is self-evident that the free market, free exchange through trade, and the freedom to pursue an individual’s purpose have lifted billions from oppressive poverty worldwide.  Founded in this understanding, 7845 embraces the market with its essential prerequisites of peace in freely entered voluntary relationships as the primary responsibility of business.  In peace we create.

Social order premised on free exchange increases the prosperity of community and individual.  7845 publicly commits itself to the defence and enhancement of a free society from the actions of rent seekers and self-interest.  It does so through direct involvement with the international chamber of commerce movement, as it was founded in a commitment to the principles of intellectual liberty and personal freedom.

As an organisation of purpose 7845 does not passively support causes.  We believe that causes worthy of our support deserve our most precious resource, time.  As such, the 7845 team will campaign directly for causes consistent with our long term purpose and values.
